Italy Tour Spring 2012
The Liturgical Choir will be touring the heart of Italy from March 11th-18th. While on tour, the choir will be singing the following:

• Tuesday, March 13th, 5:00pm: Mass, the Altar of the Chair of St. Peter’s Basilica (Vatican City)
• Wednesday, March 14th, 10:00am: Papal Audience (Liturgical Choir will sing a brief selection), the Vatican
• Thursday, March 15th: Evening Concert for the City of Assisi, Basilica of St. Francis (Assisi)
• Saturday, March 17th, 9:00pm: Concert for the City of Rome, Church of St. Ignatius (Rome)

In addition to singing in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, the Choir makes an annual domestic tour to bring its ministry of sacred music to a wider audience. Past domestic itineraries have included:

• New England
• The west coast
• The southern states
• Florida
• Great Lakes region

In addition, every four years the Choir embarks on an international tour in late May. Past international tours have included:

• 2012: Italy, upcoming tour in Rome, Vatican City, Florence, and Assisi.
• 2007: Spain, performing in the cities of Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, and on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca.
• 2003: Italy, visiting multiple Italian cities and singing at a Papal Audience.
• 1999: France, including concerts in Paris, Chartres, Reims, and LeMans (the home of the Congregation of the Holy Cross, which founded and now operates the University of Notre Dame).
