Paul Dinan

Biography

Paul Dinan grew up in Ave Maria, Florida. He began piano studies at age 7 and the organ at age 14, studying with Jerome Cole and Brice Gerlach. He was the recipient of several awards in Southern Florida, including first place and overall grand prize in the Music Foundation of Greater Naples competition in 2019, and first place in the Naples Steinway Piano Competition in 2018. Paul graduated with a liberal arts degree from Thomas Aquinas College in Western Massachusetts, where he performed in Purcell's 'Dido and Aeneas', Mozart's 'Magic Flute' and played harpsichord for J.S. Bach's 4th and 5th Brandenburg Concertos. He is now a first year Master of Sacred Music student at the University of Notre Dame, studying under Kola Owolabi.
