“Sing unto God!
…and high affections raise to crown this conquest with unmeasured praise."
Sing unto God (Excerpt)—G.F. Handel:
A perennial favorite of the Liturgical Choir, this chorus from G. F. Handel’s oratorio Judas Maccabeus illustrates our core identity. This exerpt comes from the Liturgical Choir’s newest CD, And I Saw a New Heaven.
The Liturgical Choir is a choral group at the University of Notre Dame’s Basilica of the Sacred Heart.
Sponsored by the Office of Campus Ministry, the choir provides musical leadership for the Basilica’s 10 am Sunday Mass as well as for a variety of other Basilica and University liturgies.
This website includes information on the Choir’s history, members, alumni, recordings, as well as ways to support the Choir. Please direct any questions or comments to litchoir@nd.edu.
