A perennial favorite of the Liturgical Choir, this chorus from G. F. Handel’s oratorio Judas Maccabeus illustrates our core identity. This exerpt comes from the Liturgical Choir’s newest CD, And I Saw a New Heaven.

The Liturgical Choir is a choral group at the University of Notre Dame’s “Basilica of the Sacred Heart”
Sponsored by the Office of Campus Ministry, the choir provides musical leadership for the Basilica’s 10 am Sunday Mass as well as for a variety of other Basilica and University liturgies.

Fall 2012 Auditions

Fall 2012 auditions for the Notre Dame Liturgical Choir will be held on Sunday, August 19 and Monday, August 20 in the DeBartolo Center for the Performing Arts. Membership in the Liturgical Choir is open to undergraduate and graduate students from all colleges.
